The Waldorf School of Mendocino County (WSMC) staff welcomes and meets with prospective families to ensure a good fit for our school and to assist teachers in providing an education appropriate to each student.
Our Enrollment Coordinator, Emily Rose Smith, cheerfully guides families in two parts:

Accepting an enrollment invitation and how to enroll your child(ren).

HOW TO APPLY
1. submit an inquiry form.

2. Attend a School Tour, OPEN HOUSE, or Morning Roses Event.
Tours are offered by special appointment from 8:30 am to 10:30 am on Wednesday mornings, and are for adults only. Call our Enrollment Coordinator, Emily Rose Smith, to register or to arrange another time.
Open House is offered two to three times yearly in the morning and evening. This is a wonderful time for prospective families to experience a broad introduction to our school.
Morning Roses: An Introduction to Waldorf Preschool and Kindergarten is a great event to bring your young child to and experience the wonder and magic of a Waldorf early childhood education. These events are offered on several Saturday mornings throughout the year from 10:00 to 11:30 am. For more information, visit our Morning Roses page.
3. APPLY to the Waldorf School of Mendocino COuntY.
After submitting an inquiry form and speaking with our Enrollment Coordinator you will be emailed a link to fill out our application.

Please pay your $50 application fee online using the above button. You may also drop off or mail in the application fee via credit card, cash, or check payable to the Waldorf School of Mendocino County. The contact page lists our street and mailing addresses.
4. Attend a Meet and Greet.
After receiving completed application and fee:
Parents (and Early Childhood Program children) will be invited to attend a Meet and Greet with their prospective teachers. These meetings are an opportunity to ask the teacher questions related to your child's potential program and for teachers to observe your child. These observations inform further conversations and help teachers know where a student will be best placed.
Visiting days (grades only) provide a chance for students to experience a class beforehand and give teachers an additional opportunity to meet and observe your child.
HOW TO ENROLL
Following the Meet and Greet, a decision to accept or decline your child will be made by the Faculty and Admissions staff. An invitation to enroll will be emailed to the parents with an explanation of next steps.

Once an online enrollment contract is signed, please pay your child’s first month’s tuition online using the applicable button below. You may also drop off or mail in the application fee via credit card, cash, or check payable to WSMC. The contact page lists our street and mailing addresses.
Required Paperwork for Admission
You will need to provide documentation and complete all forms before your student can attend school.
WSMC complies with California state laws governing immunizations. This means that new students and students entering a new grade span (K-6th and 7th-12th) must be fully immunized in accordance with SB 277, OR have a signed Permanent Medical Exemption (PME).
